  Was excited to try all the diners along highway 17...in the end I ended up choosing this place and one other and this place was far better. The food was good, ample parking, service was good, but most of all - the atmosphere is awesome. A big part of going to diners for me is going some place where it looks and feels like it's been the backbone of a small town for 40+ years

  Myrt's is your typical small town diner. Stopped here while going through Mattawa and had a pleasant meal. The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. There is nothing wrong with Myrt's but there is nothing outstanding either; it's normal. The salads were very large and fresh.
